I am a hair dresser by trade. So in my mind I like to think I know a LOT about styling, cutting and what not about hair. But like in most professions, there is ALWAYS room to grow.
The place where I find most my inspirations and tutorials is on Pintrest.
So here’s some messy buns tutorials that I have tried or will be trying.
(My own hair is super soft and straight, I know my hair will not look like this, but that never makes me stop from trying)

It’s unbelievable how quickly time passes us by. I know that EVERYONE says it, it’s just really hard to believe it’s true. Next month my little guy will be 9 months old. It’s crazy to think that I became pregnant just 18 months ago.
I’m still trying to finish up Ezra’s nursery with decor, figure out when we should paint his room, and decide when to remove the popcorn ceiling. While those tasks continue to haunt our to-do list, here’s a little up date on my little man.
The hot-air balloons are not completely done, but then again they may never be.
These two faces totally remind me of my niece’s facial expressions.

Well, Ezra has learned how to stand up in his crib, but only if he’s been sitting.
He has a hard time sitting up from a roll/crawl
But no worries, we will be lowering the mattress down this weekend!

This past Saturday, the temperature were in the high 40′s. With the weather being unusually warm we decided that we wanted to send our Saturday in Cambridge. This was also going to be Ezra’s first time taking public transportation, which I was rather excited about. So here’s our little day trip adventure as a family!

[This post is about a month late. But its still December, so it still counts.]
The first of December we headed out to pick the tree.
It was snowing lightly, making it the perfect weekend to put up the tree.
As thoughtful parents, we dressed our son extra warm!
He wasn’t a fan of becoming a “Human Snowball” himself!
But no matter, we were still going to pick up a tree
We tried to cheer up Ezra, but it didn’t matter
He was still not a fan of “The Human Snowball!
We compared trees.
Ezra voted!
Tied down the tree, and headed home!

This next part, Ezra was more himself.

When my son was born (middle of May) my husband and I were in the middle of closing on the purchase of a new condo. So that meant no decorating our old place before our son was born, and waiting until we moved in to our new place to do so. Well I thought that I would have a beautiful nursery all set up in weeks after the move, and it would look like the pictures from my Pinterest board. But it always seems like there’s not enough money and time for a project like this.
Actually I think I like too many different styles and my husband doesn’t like enough of them. And I don’t look forward to home improvements because they are always longer then you think, and removing the old ugly popcorn ceiling doesn’t look like fun to me. So the nursery is still not done, but my baby boy can’t tell and that’s fine by me, for now.
